Northport WWTP - Drying Bed Cover and Storm Drainage Improvements

The principal items of work to be performed include miscellaneous improvements to the existing drying bed cover and collection and rerouting of all stormwater runoff impacted by the sludge drying operations. The drying bed cover improvements will include installing new gutters and downspouts along with 12-inch and 8-inch HPDE drain piping to collect the roof drainage and discharge offsite. A ridge vent will be included as an additive alternate. The storm drainage improvements will include installing approximately 1,100 linear feet of 12- inch HDPE drain piping and various inlets to convey flows from this area to the existing WWTP drain pumping station to discharge at the headworks of the wastewater treatment plant.
