Description

Project A scope of work includes the addition of fire sprinklers to the Hubert Work Gym. New ceilings and lighting are also included because of the work required to install the sprinkler system. Project B scope of work includes new restrooms, new ceilings, new lighting and new mechanical systems in the Hubert Work Gym. Replacement of existing mechanical systems will provide ventilation heating and cooling to the gym and fitness areas within the building. The scope also includes removal of ACM flooring throughout the facility with replacement flooring being installed. This project is funded through Federal State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) Revenue Replacement and as such the contractor will be required to comply with Federal Provisions as attached to the sample contract. Firms meeting the minimum requirements may obtain the bidding documents electronically from Ken Gregg at the office of RTA Architects. Request for bidding documents shall include firm qualification information meeting the General Contractor Minimum Requirements of items 1 through 3 as indicated above. Request for an electronic access link can be made via email at ken@rtaarchitects.com. Preference shall be given to Colorado resident bidders and for Colorado labor, as provided by law. Per C.R.S. 24-105-201 If the construction value is $50,000 or greater a Bid Bond and Power of Attorney or Proposal Guaranty is required in an amount not less than 5% of the total Bid.
