Sealed proposals will be received in the office of the Kankakee County Board. 2. Description of work: a) The proposed work is officially known as Section 23-03000-00-GM Essex Township. (b) The proposed improvement is to be Bituminous Surface Treatment CL-A1 & A-2 in Essex Township. (b) Proposal guarantee by bank cashier's check, certified check, or proposal bid bond in accordance with the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation adopted January 1, 2022 will be required. (c) A surety bond for the full amount of the award will not be required. 4. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. 5.
