Asbestos Abatement and Demolition 2022 Contract 1

The Information for Bidders, Plans, Specifications, Drawings, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following: Ohio Valley Construction Employers Council in Wheeling, WV; and at the Office of the City Engineer, City-County Building, Wheel ing, WV 26003. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This contract is also subject to the requirements of the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act, Chapter21, Article 11 of the Code of West Virginia. Contractor must be licensed in accordance with the Act at the time of the Bid. The Contractor Must Use His Best Efforts to Carry Out the City of Wheeling's Minority Business Enterprise Policy. Specifically, the Contractor Must Utilize to the Greatest Extent Feasible, Minority Business Concerns Which Are Located in the County, Adjacent Counties or Within the General Trade Area. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
