| Description | EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE REPAIR FEEDER 5 AT SELFRIDGE ANGB – Project VGLZ 222005 The contractor shall coordinate with the base electric Shop, follow all safety lock out and tag out procedures for all electrical work including demolition and new work. The Contractor shall coordinate with Base personnel for replacement of the medium voltage (4800 volt) feeder cable from Building 854 Switchgear breaker to wood pole 219, installation of new riser on pole 219 with new lightning/surge arrestors and grounding, installation of new duct bank, new grounding system for new distribution system. The Contractor shall obtain digging permit for all underground work including but not limited to installation of new duct bank and excavation, back filling or soil boring for new conduits and installation of man holes, new ground rods. The contactor shall coordinate with Base personnel before any kind of underground work. Contractor shall take all precautions not to disturb any underground utilities including gas, electric, communications, telephone, cable, water and sewer. The Contractor shall ensure that all excavated/work areas are barricaded. |
