| Description | Snow removal during the 2020-2021 snow seasons at the Chaffee County Salida campuses. This is only for parking and driving areas at 104-148 Crestone Avenue and the Touber Building at 448 E. 1st Street. Maintenance personnel will be available to do a walk-about at each campus. Work detail includes snow removal at 1-inch or more, clearing and salting of all ADA parking areas and entrances by 7:00 am. If snow accumulation continues, a mid-day plowing of main drive areas will be needed. Depending on snow pack, a third evening plowing will be required at the Detention Center parking and sally port on Crestone Avenue plus the Sheriff's parking lot on 3rd Street and the Salida Police parking area at the Touber Bldg. |
