Description | The project consists of investigating two hundred twenty-two (222) water service lines throughout the Village’s distribution system. The service lines have already been selected during the grant application process. As a part of the updated Lead & Copper Rule, the Village must determine the material of each service line throughout the Village at the curb stop box (both private and public sides) and at the water service meter. Under this contract, the selected contractor will be required to hydro-excavate a pothole on each side of the curb stop box (both private and public sides) to verify the material of the service line. The pothole will then be restored to their original condition prior to hydro-excavation. Any HMA, Concrete or turf will be removed and replaced per the standard specifications laid out here within the contract documents. |
