All work and material associated with upgrading pumps, process piping, Building components, mechanical systems, and electrical systems at three Booster pump stations (bps), venting and appurtenance improvements at four Water storage tanks, two pressure reducing vaults (prv), demolition of two Prv vaults, all civil, structural and architectural work along with site Restoration and revegetation. Bids shall be submitted on a lump sum basis with a requirement to bid an alternate addition/deduction for two alternates including eliminating installation of a permanent generator at Wildridge BPS 1 and providing temporary pumping facilities during the construction phase of the Work. The award may be on the basis of the base bid or of the alternate bid(s). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a cashier s check, or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders 1. Wildridge BPS 1 a. Selective demolition of existing interior lights, conductor, conduit, receptacles, switches, RVSS cabinets, motor control center lineup, process piping, pumps and valves. Demoltion of interior sheathing. b. Civil site improvements including grading, landscaping, seeding, gravel roadway, concrete pavements, new tank vent, pump around connections. c. Replacement of doors, windows and interior sheathing within the building. Installation of exterior siding and infill of existing window areas. d. Installation of new pumps, piping, valves, pipe supports, coatings, tank vent, tank ladder, and other process appurtenances and disinfection of facilities during commissioning e. Installation of new electric unit heaters, intake louver and exhaust fan. f. Installation of electrical service equipment, motor drive, field instruments, general lighting and power. Installation of new permanent generator, automatic transfer switch or alternative 1 with pin and sleeve connection with manual transfer switch. 2. Wildridge BPS 2 a. Demolition of existing pumps, piping and electrical equipment. b. Civil site improvements including tree removal, grading, landscaping, seeding, fencing, asphalt roadway, new tank vent, and pump around connections. c. Installation of new hatches and exterior coatings on the existing building. d. Installation of new pumps, piping, valves, pipe supports, coatings, tank vent, tank ladder, and other process appurtenances and disinfection of facilities during commissioning. e. Installation of new electric unit heaters, intake louver and exhaust fan. f. Installation of electrical service and distribution equipment, motor drive, field instruments, general lighting and power. 3. Wildridge BPS 3 a. Demolition of existing electrical, pumps and piping systems and selective or partial demolition of building superstructure. b. Civil site improvements including grading, landscaping, seeding, gravel roadway, concrete pavement, new tank vent, and pump around connections. c. Installation of new building addition with new foundation, walls and roof structure, window replacements, door replacements, and building coatings. d. Installation of new pumps, piping, valves, pipe supports, coatings, tank vent, tank ladder, and other appurtenances and disinfection of facilities during commissioning. e. Installation of new electric unit heaters, floor drain piping, intake louver and exhaust fan equipment. f. Installation of new electrical service equipment, variable frequency drives, field instrumentation, 4. PRV Replacements a. Installation of two new pre-manufactured and pre-piped pressure reducing valve vaults with tie-ins to existing distribution system. Installation of new distribution piping, fittings, valves and appurtenances to install the new vaults. b. Demolition or abandonment of three existing pressure reducing valve vaults. c. Backfilling, compaction, and surface restoration in public right-ofway. 5. Temporary Facilities a. Maintaining drinking water service to its customers during the duration of the project is critical to the Owner.
