Description | Provide all required equipment, materials, and labor for the removal of existing carpeting and the placement of new carpet tiles within the above noted facilities. The selected company shall be responsible for providing the following services: 1) Removal and disposal of existing carpeting materials (Note that City staff will remove and replace furniture, appliances, etc. as needed.) 2) Preparation of surfaces for installation of carpeting in accordance with manufacturer’s directions 3) Furnish Commercial Carpet Tile: a) Tiles shall be suitable for moderately high foot-traffic b) Tile Size: 24”x24” in size c) Manufacturer: Patcraft d) Style: Scaffold e) Color: to be determined per facility f) Contractor shall provide to the City additional tile for future replacement as may be needed. Quantity shall be two (2) percent of the total square footage installed. g) Additionally, the entrance ways will require walk off carpet tiles. 4) Provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of carpet-tiles. 5) Provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of matching Rubberized Cove Base, a minimum of 4 ½ inches in height. 6) Provide for the removal and disposal of flooring materials within the three (3) restroom facilities within Building B. 7) Furnish and install Luxury Vinyl Tile within each of the three (3) restroom facilities within Building B. Tile shall be as manufactured by Patcraft, color shall be determined by City. 8) All work shall be done after 5:00pm each weekday, and during hours over weekends as agreed to by the City. 9) All work shall be completed by June 30, 2021 10) Contractor must provide a warranty on material and installation; warranty information shall be required as a component of proposal. |
