Renovation of a mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is the Construction Manager for UNC Charlotte Popp Martin Student Dining Renovation. Whiting-Turner is seeking to pre-qualify subcontractors at this time for Food Service Equipment The scope of work for this prequalification is to furnish and install specified kitchen equipment to University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus. The procurement process will follow the State Construction process. The project designer is Moseley Architects Contractors/Vendors are invited to pre-qualify for the following trade package: 11A Food Service Equipment Note: The General Trades Package will be responsible for scopes of work covered under the following construction divisions. Payment and Performance Bonds will be waived for Trade Packages under $500,000. The minimum minority participation goal for this project is 10%. Whiting-Turner invites all small, minority and woman-owned contractors and suppliers to participate in the pre-qualification process. All Pre-Qualified bidders will be required to seek Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) participation Bidders must be properly licensed under all state laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the respective trades and work to be performed.
