Chapman Hill Elementary School Improvements - 2018 Bond - Salem Keizer Public Schools

Chapman Hill Elementary School Chapman Hill Elementary School is a single-story facility constructed in 1985. The facility was designed without a cafeteria or a full-sized school kitchen. The identified construction projects would repurpose existing square footage to create a new cafeteria and expanded kitchen by relocating the library. This approach would provide core area and classroom capacity to meet projected student enrollment through 2025 without increasing the building footprint. Building improvement projects would include roofing replacement and replacement of partition walls. Technology and communications improvements would include expanded wireless capacity and intercom system upgrades. Bond funds would also be used to provide improved supervision of the main entry.
