Description

The City of Meridian will not be issuing an award The City intends to re-issue a new solicitation in the fall of 2023 Questions Due Date: Jan 22nd 2024, 12:00 PM MST Intent to Bid Due Date: Jan 31st 2024, 2:30 PM MST The City of Meridian is requesting bids for the South Junction Box Rehabilitation. This work consists of isolating and repairing an existing concrete junction box at the City of Meridian Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The Work consists of isolating and repairing an existing concrete junction box at the City of Meridian Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, and incidentals for completing the Work, including. 1. Installing sewer bypass fittings and valves on existing 16-inch and 18-inch sewer forcemains. a. City to coordinate operation and shut-down of the force mains. b. Fittings and valves shall remain in place after the project is completed. c. Valves shall be installed per ISPWC SC-406. d. Fittings and valves shall be restrained with thurst blocks per ISPWC SD403. e. Upon disassembly, Contractor to remove discharge piping from isolation valve and install leak-proof MJ cap or blind flange prior to burial. 2. Installing and testing temporary plugs and bypass pumping system per Section 02250. 3. Rehabilitate the junction box concrete structure per Section 09711. 4. Remove bypass pumping equipment and pipe plugs after the junction box rehabilitation is completed. 5. Return the site to its original condition. a. Complete all backfill requirements and restore surface to original condition (i.e. native, gravel, asphalt, etc.). b. Repair any fencing relocated during construction. c. Cleanup any materials stockpiled during construction.
