All BID prices must be held firm for 60 days following the BID due date. As its best interests may appear, OWNER reserves the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, conditional or alternate BID(s); to reject any or all BID(s); to waive informalities, technicality or irregularity in any BID(s); to require statements or evidence of BIDDERS qualifications such as financial data, previous experience, and authority to conduct business in the jurisdiction where the PROJECT is located; and to accept the BID that is in the opinion of the OWNER in its best interest. OWNER reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum. Basis of award will be the lowest responsive and responsible bid as determined by OWNER. A general statement of the WORK is as follows: Remove existing wood or vinyl fencing and posts, and install new fence improvements, within the GVR Metropolitan District. May require installation of additional wood or vinyl posts where homeowner-owned fence is attached to District-owned fence. Fence and post improvements shall be replaced together in weekly (5-day) phases. Procurement of approximately 2,901 linear feet of Trex-style fencing material (6 Saddle Brown-Seclusion Style) and installation of approximately 2,861 linear feet of the material. Contractor to independently confirm fence measurements and material requirements and will manage all aspects of the Project. Work directly with homeowners and manage issues with restoration of homeowner landscaping, as appropriate. Repair any irrigation damage done during the project. Must complete all locates, and remove all construction-related debris. Location: Various Locations within the GVR Metropolitan District, Denver, Colorado Perimeter fence on east side of Tower Road from 46th Avenue to 43rd Avenue; perimeter fence on the north and south sides of 45th Avenue between Tower Road and Argonne Street; perimeter fence on the north side of 43rd Avenue between Tower Road and Andes Way. |
