Description | Job No. P-40-001-23, Various IL Safety Program Analysis & Technical Support, Various Routes, Various Counties, Bureau of Safety Programs and Engineering. This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires 24% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on August 2, 2022, at 10:30 AM at the Central Bureau of Safety Programs and Engineering Office in Springfield. Engineering services are required to provide at a minimum technical support, statewide scientific based safety data analysis, analytical tool development, guidance documents and policy recommendations, training, safety research support, peer exchange facilitation and other related work and exhibits to assist with advancing the Illinois' safety programs and engineering program in line with federal regulations, policies, manuals, and programs associated with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and Transportation Research Board (TRB). Work Orders under a blanket agreement will be negotiated and authorized by the department on an as-needed basis.
