Description | As of October 2, 2023 demolition has begun as of September 2023. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. From qualified developers to purchase and redevelop an approximately 140acre property located at the former Jamestown Mall site in St. Louis County, Missouri. The property includes improvements with at least 1 million square feet under roof and 2 million square feet of asphalt parking. It is located adjacent to N. Lindbergh Boulevard (US Highway 67) and is easily accessible from Interstate 270. Please direct inquiries related to this RFP to Andrew C. Ruben, Esq., at 314-425-4909 or aruben@sandbergphoenix.com. An earnest money deposit of Fifty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($50,000.00) in the form of a check made payable to the St. Louis County Port Authority must accompany any proposal. Only the monies of the winning proposal will be deposited with an escrow agent. All other checks will be shredded and discarded. The Authority may begin its review of submissions prior to the above deadline; however, the Authority will take no final action and will not select a developer prior to such date. The Authority reserves the right to accelerate this response deadline to consider any time sensitive proposals, in accordance with the procedures set out in the Request for Proposals DBE, MBE, and WBE firms are encouraged to bid. The RFP may be obtained from the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities therein.
