Sewer Rehabilitation Project

This project will rehabilitate existing sanitary sewers and manholes throughout the owner's service area to reduce inflow and infiltration into the sewer system and to repair significant structural defects that are causing re-occurring maintenance issues. Contractors submitting a Bid on this project must be qualified under provisions of the Contractor's Licensing Law (1976 Code, Sections 4-11-10, et. seq). Bidders must show classification and contractor's license number on the outside of bid envelope. This PROJECT will rehabilitate existing sanitary sewers and manholes throughout the Owner's service area to reduce inflow and infiltration into the sewer system and to repair significant structural defects that are causing re-occurring maintenance issues. Work may include cleaning and televising sewers to determine the condition of the sewers and to identify needed repairs, performing repairs to existing manholes and sewers to repair specific defects, installing new sewers and manholes to replace existing sewers and manholes, installation of cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP) in sewers, other miscellaneous manhole rehabilitation work including coating manholes with specialized cementitious mortar, and other miscellaneous work including restoration. any questions concerning the Invitation for Bid must be addressed to Troy Maciaszek, P.E., e-mail address tmaciaszek@frazier-engineering.com or by fax at (704) 822-8666. CONTRACT SECURITY: The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as described in Section 00700 - General Conditions. QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Requirements concerning the qualifications of BIDDERS are described in Section 00100 - Instructions to Bidders. OWNER'S RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: Town of Batesburg-Leesville (TOWN) reserves the right to waive irregularities and formalities and to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days after the actual date of the opening thereof
