Description

Installation HVAC system at the Community Center of Mount Pleasant. 1.Replace existing HVAC system using current design, application techniques, according to existing HVAC plans. Move air returns for better efficiency. Bidder must specify in the detail of any such relocations. 2.Installed system shall include a humidistat controller in addition to a remote programmable thermostat. 3.Existing round or flexible ducts with exterior insulation will replaced with new equivalent materials. 4.Return air and supply air boxes can be relocated based on the judgment of the success bidder with approval of the City Engineer. 5.All return air ducts will be altered to allow for the inclusion of standard filter media panels. 6.The main trunk (square/rectangular) ducts will remain in place and be cleaned with a non-abrasive vacuum unit. 7.Any suspended ceiling grid splines damaged during the installation procedure will be replaced/repaired by the contractor.
