| Description | Site work for a road / highway in Boca Raton, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.The City of Boca Raton is seeking bids from qualified firms for upgrading the existing Advanced Transportation System. Work consists of the supply and installation of 27 new traffic controllers, replacing old video or loop detection with new advanced video and radar vehicle detection, supply and install 14 new traffic signal cabinets to replace existing cabinets, install and supply 14 battery backup systems, supply and install travel time technology at 8 of the intersections, and the supply and installation of fiber splice vaults with fiber splicing. Project is partially funded under the State of Florida Department of Transportation, Local Agency Program and Dochas federal and state requirements. |
