Description

Kutztown University is seeking qualified contractors for paving maintenance of campus roadways and parking lots, storm piping, curbing, and pavement striping. Work may or may not include excavation, seeding, sodding, and miscellaneous paving repairs. Work shall include all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment, and performing all work necessary to complete work. It is the intent of the University to issue work order (unit-price) contracts to multiple qualified contractors. Contract length will be one (1) year with up to four (4) optional renewals of one (1) year each. All work will be done strictly on an as-needed basis. In order to ensure the responsiveness of contractors, and in the best interests of the University, contractors must meet the following special requirements: Must be located within fifty (50) miles (as the road drives) from the University. Contractors located outside of the fifty (50) mile distance will not be considered. Questions regarding this Invitation for Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM local time on December 5, 2022. Answers to these questions and further administrative information shall be provided via Addendum #1 which shall be posted to the portal no later than December 12, 2022.
