North River Valley Concession Stand Roof Replacement

Tear off and replace roof, replace facia and other wood as needed, replace soffit, wrap exterior wood with metal at the North River Valley Park Concession stand, located at 1015 East 13th Street, Ames, Iowa. General Work Provisions 1. The contractor shall maintain a safe work area around the facility 2. Access to Bathrooms and softball supply box shall be maintained as open in softball season 3. Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all old roofing materials and debris with close attention to the removal of nails from the work area 4. Contractor shall provide all tools and equipment that are necessary to complete the project 5. Contractor shall provide all warranty information upon completion of project 6. All work shall be completed on April 15, 2024, or sooner 7. Owner reserves the right to stop or reschedule work due to conditions in the park 8. The worksite shall be secured and cleaned up daily (nails, debris, materials, equipment, etc.) 1. Roof a. Tear off and disposal of existing asphalt shingles and sheathing b. Replace all sheathing with 4x8-1/2" OSB c. Underlayment to be 30# felt d. New roof shall be standing seam with hidden fasteners metal roof i. Dakota Steel G90 26 ga color Cocoa Brown or prior approved equivalent 1. 16" exposure roof panels 2. RV100 Ridge Vent 3. Provide and install univent III, offset cleats, z-closures, etc. as needed 4. Rooftop Bathroom Vent Fan a. Provide Greenheck CUE-095-DGE119XQD b. Mount fan with correct curb for model c. Mount and seal fan to roof, electrical completed by others ii. All installations to follow manufacturer's instructions iii. Properly seal and flash all roof penetrations 2. Facia a. Replace all weathered/damaged facia board as needed 3. Soffit a. Remove and dispose of all wood soffit/overhang ceiling material b. Install wood blocking/support to hold lighting and photocells in place at current locations and to facilitate installation of metal soffit panels c. Install metal vented soffit panel i. Dakota Steel 28 ga steel vented soffit color Light Stone or prior approved equivalent ii. Provide and install all necessary channels and supports iii. Installation to follow manufacturer's instructions 4. Wrap all exposed wood in metal Dakota Steel 28 ga or prior approved equivalent a. Facia to match roof color -Cocoa Brown b. North and South walls Pioneer Rib panel color - Cocoa Brown c. Beams under shelter overhang and window surrounds Pioneer Rib or flat color - Cocoa Brown d. Provide and install all trim and channel as needed e. Installation to follow manufacturer's instructions f.
