Description

Daily inspection and trash removal of related properties. Mowing, edging, weed-eating, blowing clippings off paved areas. Frequency of mowing services to be provided shall be every two weeks between March 1st and October 31st, and every month between November 1st and the last day in February. Area to be mowed: Approximately 32.01 acres See Area 2, Area 3, and Area 4 (attached) Vendor is responsible for the collection, removal and disposal of all trimmings, debris, and any and all litter from areas covered by this scope. The vendor shall develop and submit a monthly work plan listing the work and services to be provided during the next month, with such plan delivered NOAB not later than the 20th day of the month prior to the start of work. Weather related delays in the monthly plan will require re-submittal of an updated plan, as required. The vendor may be required to attend quarterly consultation meetings with the Airport to review the mowing services. The vendor must follow all Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) standards for safety if closing any vehicle traffic lanes and/or while working adjacent to vehicular traffic. The vendor must provide a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours of advance notice to the NOAB when if vehicular lane closures are requested. The vendor must ensure all employees wear OSHA-approved, conspicuous safety vests at all times while working on Airport property. Unless otherwise approved by the NOAB, the vendor shall perform all on-site mowing services, including debris and litter removal, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM The vendor is responsible for providing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment to maintain all airport mowing areas to the standards set forth in these specifications and to the satisfaction of the NOAB. The vendor shall provide all necessary and appropriate equipment including, but not limited to, pick-up trucks, mowers, string trimmers, edgers, sprayers, water trucks, blowers, trash bags, and hand tools necessary to maintain the grass to the standards set forth in these specifications and to the satisfaction of the NOAB. The vendor shall keep all mowing areas compliant with all local ordinances to the satisfaction of the NOAB. The NOAB will inspect areas as needed for compliance. The vendor bidder shall respond to all requests from the NOAB to maintain local ordinances. The vendor will protect all adjacent areas from damage due to mowing operations. The vendor will also treat and repair or replace damage to any landscaping or fencing, as well as other areas caused by actions of the vendor and/or their employees. The vendor will repair and/or replace any landscape, lawn, or plant materials and any structures or other property of adjacent landowners damaged by mowing operations at the vendor's expense with no additional costs to the NOAB.
