Description

Sealed bids will be received for the construction of City of Douglas FY22 CDBG Early Head Start/Head Start Expansion A plan holders list will be available from J. Glenn Gregory Architects 1807 North Patterson Street, Valdosta, GA 31602, (229)249-8833, fax (229)249-9002, email jggarch@bellsouth.net. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for receiving the bids. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent of the contract price will be required of the awarded contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise. The City of Douglas is committed to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing. This project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. This contract opportunity is a Section 3 Covered Contract. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
