Repair Chillers

1. Due to Normal Preventative Maintenance, we will require a complete overhaul/rebuild. 2. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, parts, materials, tools, equipment, and any specialized outside services to completely rebuild (2) McQuay Brand WSC087-BAABM Chillers. 3. Contractor shall be responsible for the acquiring and maintaining all necessary permits that may be required to complete this project. The work shall be completed in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations, utilizing all new parts and materials that meet or exceed manufacturer’s specifications. 4. The contractor has sole responsibility and discretion for choosing and implementing the manner and method of performing the tasks outlined in this Statement of Work as long as they do not impede or violate any Local, State, or Federal regulatory policies and/or laws. The institution Contracting Officer, and/or Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) shall monitor and review contractor performance to ensure contract compliance. The contractors’ performance will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 42. 5. All work shall be completed, equipment tested, and adjusted per manufactures recommendations and accepted by the institution’s COR prior to closure of theproject. 6. Following the chiller manufacture’s recommended maintenance guidelines, the contractor shall: a) Dismantle the chiller inspecting the following, but not limited to, mechanical components and parts to determine if they are within continued safe operational tolerance standards. b) Components and parts to be specifically evaluated: The Inlet Guide Vane Assembly, Motor Shaft, Labyrinth Seals, Impellers, 3rd Stage Land and Vane Operator Assembly, Vane Actuator Control Box, Electric Drive Motor, seals, O-rings, and wear item. If such items are found to be defective, in part or in whole, they shall be rebuilt or replaced by the contractor.
