Description | Scope of Services - The scope of work will consist of rehabilitation of Murrieta Hot Springs Road from Madison Avenue to approximately 500' west of Alta Murrieta Drive, and Hancock Avenue between Las Brisas Road South to Murrieta Hot Springs Road includes removal and replacement of pavement failure sections, grinding of existing asphalt, placement of asphalt rubber hot mix (Murrieta Hot Springs Road) and hot mix asphalt (Hancock Ave), detector loops, striping, surveying, ramp and spandrel removal and replacement, and traffic control as shown on the plans, these special provisions or as directed by the City Engineer. Rehabilitation of Juniper Street from Berlie Street to Franklin Street, and Franklin Street from Juniper Street to the end of Franklin Street includes removal and replacement of pavement failure sections, grinding of existing asphalt, capping the streets with hot mix asphalt, surveying, installation of an access ramp, driveways, sidewalk, cross gutter, curb inlet, curb and gutter, as well as tree removals and traffic control as shown on the plans, these special provisions or as directed by the City Engineer. Rehabilitation of Jackson Ave includes minor digouts and reconstruction of asphalt on a bridge overpassing Warm Springs Creek. The Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Madison Avenue Median Project includes removal and reconstruction of the existing medians in order to extend the length of the left turn pockets, as well as installation of one new pin down median. Median curbs shall be pin down style. Other work includes the installation of asphalt and aggregate base, pavers and striping as shown on the plans, these special provisions or as directed by the City Engineer. |
