Description

Component 1: Sidewalk Pedestrian Ramps for City Annual Resurfacing Program These locations are tied to the streets which will be resurfaced as part of the City’s annual resurfacing program. The goal is to ensure the sidewalk pedestrian ramps which are affected by the paving work are brought to ADA compliance. Curb and Gutter Removal and Replacement These locations are tied to the streets to be resurfaced as part of the City’s annual resurfacing program. Other spot locations may exist based on homeowner complaints. Component 2: ADA Sidewalk Trip Hazards, ADA Curb Ramp Compliancy, and Drainage Issues These locations are resident trip hazard complaints received throughout the City as well as noncompliant sidewalk pedestrian ramps and drainage issues outside of the resurfacing program. The successful contractor must demonstrate knowledge of ADA rules and regulations.
