Description | Reference Number 0000325984 The County of St. Clair is accepting bids for the Chiller Replacement at the St. Clair County Administration Office located at 200 Grand River Avenue, Port Huron, Michigan. Verify chiller unit to be removed is isolated from Chiller 2 unit Disassembly of approximately 28 feet of metal existing enclosure to facilitate removal of existing unit. The enclosure to be maintained for later installation Shut down the unit Drain unit if required Removal and disposal of refrigerant per EPA regulations Disconnect and repair of existing piping to ensure proper installation and operation of new chiller Provide crane to remove existing chiller Provide crane to install new chiller Identify expected lead times on equipment and components with bids Set new chiller on pad all pad modifications, if needed, are the responsibility of the contractor Provide and install 1 new Square D Safety Switch: Fusible, 600 Amp, Three Phase, 600VAC Galvanized Steel Indoor/Outdoor Provide and install a replacement 300-ton cooling capacity chiller that is compatible with current HVAC components and systems Connect and insulate the new water piping, where required, to the new chiller Install new electrical run-in conduit with all necessary electrical components for the Safety Switch and any other electrical required equipment on the new chiller Flush and leak check piping Provide chemical treatment (chemicals only) for 1 season of operation. Startup chiller and verify operation Ensure proper operation/integration with current Honeywell building management system Reinstall metal enclosure Provide labor and material and rigging for the above of work The contractor shall be responsible for all permits and their associated costs The contractor shall be responsible for the disposal of the existing chiller Dumpsters and garbage removal for the project are the responsibility of the contractor The Owner / Occupant will not clean up behind Contractor. Contractor is responsible for cleanup of debris caused by their construction activities or negligence |
