Hoopa New K-12 Education Building

Questions shall be submitted before Friday, September 22, 2023, at 5:00 PM. in order to address the questions in a timely manner. No oral questions or inquiries about this RFP shall be accepted. The Hoopa Valley Tribe (HVT) is requesting proposals (RFP) from responsible and responsive qualified individuals, organizations, or companies for the "Project & Construction Manager" position for a new 6,600 square foot education building, site work and utilities, known as the "New K-12 Education Building Project." With a contract estimated performance period of the date of contract approval by the Hoopa Valley Tribe (HVT) to the targeted Project completion end date of 3 years. The proposals submitted in response to the RFP will be used as a basis for selecting the "Project & Construction Manager consultant for this project. The Consultant's proposal will be evaluated and ranked according to the criteria provided in Appendix B, "Evaluation Criteria," of the "RFP-Comprehensive." Addenda to this RFP, if issued, will be sent to all prospective Consultants the Hoopa Valley Tribe's Planning Department has specifically e-mailed or mailed a copy of the "RFP Comprehensive" to, and are placed on the Project's "Plan Holder's List." Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed package clearly marked "Hoopa Valley Tribal Education Department," "New K-12 Education Building Project," "Project & Construction Manager Proposal" "Do Not Open," and shall be addressed as follows: Onaleece Colegrove, Director Hoopa Valley Tribal Education Department P.O. Indian Preference, Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination & Education Assistance Act (25 USC 450e(b)), and the Hoopa Valley Tribe's TERO Ordinance, as amended, will be enforced. Contractor and employees shall be subject to the Drug and Alcohol Policies Ordinance, Title 21 of the Hoopa Valley Tribal Code.
