Demolition - Tracts 146, 148, 149 For ALL contracts/tracts, all bricks, building debris, and garbage must be removed. Site must be mowable after demolition. All disturbed areas must be seeded and strawed. Contractor must contact this office BEFORE seeding and strawing. Tract Address Improvements Tracts 146, 148, 149 will be bid together. 146 2305 Amy Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37664 REMOVE:1 story frame 1,932 sq ft residence, all concrete slab and footers. Backfill crawlspace to a 3:1 mowable slope Remove concrete driveway to 3 feet from street (DO NOT DISTURB AMY AVENUE) Remove all wood & chain link fencing. All fence posts must be removed Contractor not to disturb the garage structure next door. Seed and straw all disturbed working areas Any large bricks, concrete debris or materials must be removed. Site must be mowable after demolition. 148 2309 Amy Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37664 REMOVE: Concrete slab and footers Remove concrete driveway to 3 feet from street (DO NOT DISTURB AMY AVENUE) Any large bricks, concrete debris or materials must be removed. Block retaining wall and garage structure in the back to REMAIN. Remove the concrete up to approx 1' of garage structure Site must be mowable after demolition. 149 2313 Amy Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37664 REMOVE:1&1/2story frame 1,341 sq ft residence, all concrete slab and footers. Remove concrete driveway to 3 feet from street (DO NOT DISTURB AMY AVENUE) Backfill basement to a 3:1 mowable slope Remove all wood and chainlink fencing. Retaining wall in the back to REMAIN. Remove the concrete up to approx 1' of retaining wall. Seed and straw all disturbed working areas Any large bricks, concrete debris or materials must be removed. The successful bidder must agree to indemnify and save the State harmless from all losses, damages, and expenses in accordance with the terms of agreement for the removal o f the improvements A certificate of insurance for liability must be furnished to the State before the successful bid can be awarded. Any bid placed without a certificate of insurance for liability will not be accepted. The successful bidder shall enter into an agreement to remove said improvements to ground level by Friday, March 10, 2023. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the decision of the Property Management Office will be final The REMOVER shall provide a valid Tennessee Driver's license or photo identification issued by the department of safety; or a valid driver's license or photo identification from another state where the issuance requirements are at least as strict as those in Tennessee, as determined by the department of safety. Bidding is not open to State Employees or their agents.
