Description

Notice to Bidders: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education, Unatego Central School District, herein called the Owner, invites sealed Bids, submitted in duplicate, in accordance with Drawings, Specifications and other Bidding and Contract Documents, for the following bid items: Project Identification: Capital Improvement - Phase 1 1. Unatego Middle School / High School: 2641 State Highway 7, Otego, NY 13825. a. SED Project #: 47-16-01-04-0-015-20 2. Unatego Elementary School: 265 Main Street, Unadilla, NY 13849. a. SED Project #: 47-16-01-04-0-009-013 3. Bus Garage: 353 Main Street, Otego, NY 13825. a. SED Project #: 47-16-01-04-5-006-006 Project Description: Project consists of various renovations (site work, upgrading HVAC, renovation of the Middle School/High School auditorium, complete locker room renovation, installation of a vehicle lift system at the Bus Garage, minor classroom renovations at the Elementary School Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. Multiple Contract Project consisting of the following prime contracts: a. General Construction: Sitework, Abatement, Demolition, and General Construction. b. Mechanical Construction: Demolition and Construction. c. Electrical Construction: Demolition and Construction. d. Plumbing Construction: Demolition and Construction. e. Roofing Construction: Demolition and Construction. f. Bus Lift: Demolition and Construction. g. HVAC Controls: Demolition and Construction. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder
