J012--Fire Sprinkler Dry System Modification

Starting at the existing dry system inside Building 20 CLC, the contractor will modify the current dry system as per NFPA 13. The modifications will add a nitrogen generator to both the North and South dry system at the CLC building. The existing air compressor will be removed and turned in. The new wall-mounted nitrogen generators will be installed. The nitrogen generator will be piped to the dry systems. A new purge valve will be installed on the dry system branch lines to purge the air left in the system as it fills with nitrogen. This proposal includes material, installation, and final test, and this contract will be completed upon the performance items indicated in the Statement of Work (SoW). Specific Tasks: The specific task for this contract is installing a nitrogen system in the CLC Building 20. Two systems, one for the North and one for the South wing, will function independently. Once the nitrogen system is functional, all dry pipes will be filled with nitrogen instead of compressed air. The system will have monitoring devices installed to maintain the nitrogen within the dry pipes. Labor to install the nitrogen system, INS-100, IntelliPurge Purge Valves (2), Transformers (2), Quick Fill Compressor (2), Filter Element Kit (2), Air Intake Element INS 100/250/600 (2), Bleeder Valve (2), Nitrogen Air Maintenance Device (2).
