Project: CSC-20001 Safety Improvements, Fy21

This requirement shall apply to all Installation projects that impact any part of the Installation fire detection, protection and/or mass notification systems, regardless of the size of the impact. The scope of work includes the purchasing and installation of a new fall protection system for each existing fixed ladder identified above. Included with the fall protection systems are compatible detachable cable sleeves to be used in conjunction with a safety harness for safe access of each ladder. Work is to include new modular carpet tiles and new sheet vinyl flooring with associated wall base; new wall construction secured to concrete roof above suspended ceiling system and patching/repair/replacement of existing walls (gypsum); installation of additional layers of drywall; sound proofing to minimum STC 45 standards including acoustical caulk and sealant; new wall paint; minor masonry work; new doors including frames; new interior finishes and signage; covering of existing windows with black-out film; installation of new wall guard; insulation and incidental related work.
