The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award. Number: AC-NHPP-G-251-1(92)E Letting: 220421 This project, located in Prince Georges County, is for Fund 77 resurfacing and ADA improvements of US 1 (Baltimore Ave) from Rhode Island Avenue to MD 212A (Powder Mill Rd). The proposed improvements are between the milepoints of 7.42 and 8.00 for an approximate length of 0.61 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) Fine Milling and Resurfacing (b) ADA Compliant Sidewalk (c) Drainage Repair (d) Maintenance of Traffic (e) Signing and Pavement Markings (f) Signalized Intersection Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
