Z--Sources Sought Notice for Design-Build Fire Protection Systems in Bldgs A-4171, 1350, and 1351 and Afff Systems in Bldgs A-981 and A-131 at Naval Air Station Key West, FL

The scope of work shall include the complete design and construction of various new fire protection systems and AFFF systems at NAS Key West, FL. For Building A-4171, Military Working Dog facility - Install a new addressable fire alarm and sprinkler system. For Buildings 1350 & 1351, Bachelor Housing facilities - Demo the existing fire alarm systems in their entirety, including all panels/devices/wiring/etc, and provide and install a new combined mass notification/fire alarm system throughout both buildings. For Building A-981, Hangar - Install a new AFFF fire suppression system, demolish the existing hangar bay suppression system, and install a new automatic fire detection system in the hangar bay. The work will include new low level low expansion foam AFFF monitor nozzles, new multi-spectrum IR flame detection and releasing system, and new sump pump for the oil/water separator. For Building A-131, Hangar - Install a new AFFF fire suppression system, replace the hangar bay suppression system, replace the fire main to the building, and install a new automatic fire detection system in the hangar bay. The work will include new low level low expansion foam AFFF monitor nozzles, new multispectrum IR flame detection and releasing system, demo of the existing fire alarm system, new fire alarm and mass notification system, and new AFFF containment and oil/water separator.
