Park Improvements For Ephrata Township Park

As of November 10, 2022, all bids have been rejected. At this time, the project is not expected to be rebid. The Contract will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 730 feet long by 25' wide area of tree clearing, stump removal, grading for a trail, and slope grading. Clarification Deadline: 3/25/2022 2:00 PM A certified check or bid bond for the amount of ten percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Only those questions submitted shall be considered. Questions received after 2:00 PM on March 25, 2022, regarding the project will not be acknowledged. Surety waives notice of and any and all defenses based on or arising out of any time extension to issue Notice of Award agreed to in writing by OWNER and Bidder, provided that the total time for issuing Notice of Award including extensions shall not in the aggregate exceed 120 days from Bid due date without Surety's written consent. If designated as the successful bidder, the contractor will begin work on the date specified in the notice to proceed, or as otherwise provided in the special requirements, and will complete all work on or before September 30, 2022. If all work is not completed on time, liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate as specified in the Special Provisions to Contract MS-944. Ephrata Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. No pre Bid meeting.
