Description | This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Far Subpart 12.6 and 13.106-1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 177FW, NJANG has a requirement for delivery and installation of a Paint Booth as per attached Technical Requirements Documents and supporting attachment. The 177th Fighter Wing requires the vendor to provide and install an industrial paint booth in the Fuel Cell Corrosion Control Facility, bldg. 445. The technical specifications, description, and salient characteristics of the Paint Booth are described in CLIN 0001 - Provide MXG Paint Booth. CLIN 0002 provides for the installation of the paint booth in building 445, room 119. The of the installation is provided in this Work Statement. Vendor shall be responsible for connecting the new paint booth to the existing natural gas line in room 119. Vendor shall verify the existing NG capacity is adequate for the proposed paint booth. NG piping shall be installed, supported, and tested IAW all applicable codes & regulations to include the International Plumbing Code Testing shall be in the presence of an authorized member of the 177FW CES. All piping shall be rigid pipe. Flexible Stainless-Steel Tubing (FSST) is prohibited; unless final connection to equipment is by the manufacturer to isolate vibrations. Valve shall be provided to isolate the lateral run and at the final connection to the piece of equipment (paint booth). All valves shall be labeled & tagged IAW the facility identification scheme. All NG piping shall be labeled accordingly and painted yellow to Connect Paint Booth to the existing facility electrical service. REF: ATTACHMENTS 02 Existing facility service is 3 phase, 480 volt, 40amps. Ref: ATTACHEMENT 02 The existing electric service is in a 4x4 junction box on the south wall of room 119. All electrical work shall conform to Class 1 Division 2 National Electric Code (NEC) requirements. The new paint both is considered a piece of equipment. Appropriate means of disconnect shall be provided IAW the NEC. All electrical equipment, disconnects, equipment, conductors... shall be identified and labeled IAW the existing facility schemes and NEC. Connect Paint Booth to the existing Sprinkler System The new paint booth shall be connected to the existing wet fire suppression system by a New Jersey licensed Fire Suppression Company. The vendor shall verify that existing adequate water supply & pressure is available. Connection is provided in room 119 near the ceiling in the northwest portion of the room 119 All fire suppression piping, fittings, valves, & supports shall be provided and installed IAW NFPA 13. All fire piping shall be painted red and labeled IAW the existing facility scheme. GENERAL INFORMATION Solicitation W50S8F-23-Q-0005 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). Quotes shall be valid for 90 days. Please include expiration date in your quote. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation and its applicable supplements. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333310 - Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and services necessary to provide and install a Paint Booth in the newly constructed Fuel Cell and Corrosion Control Facility to maintain the Wing's F-16 Fighter Aircraft fleet. This solicitation contains attachments and supporting documentation for the desired solution. The intended contract vehicle will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract.
