Description | The Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) requires two (2) stainless steel drum filters capable of removing 30 micron and larger particles at 500 gallon per minute which will remove zebra mussel vilegars from the source water. Each filter needs to incorporate a liquid level control system with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) soft start system. Each drum filter also needs to include a high pressure rinse system with stainless steel piping, pressure gauges, filter and pump. The filter housing is to be constructed of stainless steel with a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) cover. The tank needs to incorporate a secure bypass system. The unit must operate on 220-240 volt 60 Hz single phase power alternating current power. Filter panels to be a maximum of 30 micron. The backwashing system needs to attached the filter for easier installation. |
