Description | As of February 2, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded general contractor has not been made public at this time. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 12/12/2022 4:00 PM Only proposals from prequalified contractors will be accepted. The prequalification process for this project has ended. Bid proposals received from any contractor that was not prequalified will be rejected. A registry of prequalified contractors is available on the Township's website under the "Announcements" link found under the "Government" tab. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. The project is located along an unnamed tributary to the Tulpehocken Creek in Jackson Township, Lebanon County, PA. The proposed streambank stabilization begins approximately 50 feet south of West Main Avenue and continues downstream approximately 1,700 linear feet to a point just north of the tributary's confluence to the Tulpehocken Creek. The project will establish a floodplain bench, grade back vertical streambanks, and establish a diverse native plant community to reduce streambank erosion and improve habitat as more fully described in the Contract Documents. Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply to this project. Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion. |
