Housing Rehabilitation Program - Remove Deteriorated Porch and Build New Porch

Complete removal of back porch, roof, deck, concrete footings, and piers. This will require a stucco patch where existing roof line and deck was previously tied to the house. Two new post frost protected footings will be needed. New deck construction of a 6’ wide and 4’ length landing off back door. One set of steps protruding off the front face of landing. Post and handrails will be included on landing and stairs per code. Building material shall be treated lumber for the structural framing and meet building code. The deck skirt boards, decking, handrails posts, beam, and stairs needs to be wrapped in cedar. After the deck passes inspection it will need to be stained for final completion. There will be a decorative metal guard railing installed over the second-floor French doors eliminating any possibilities of a fall. This rail shall be coated in weatherized covering preventing rust. The front steps have a tubed handrail that will need to be removed and replaced with a secure handrail system that will support persons from a fall. This rail to must me incased with a weatherized protective coating. A demo and building must be obtained to perform work
