Description

PROJ REF 60645127 Scope generally includes: New junction structure adjacent to and interconnected to existing, complete wiht interceptor connections, motorized gate and outlet piping with manholes to new influent lift station. New dry pit influent lift station with new adjacent electrical building and new biotrickling filter odor control system to serve both the new and existing influent lift stations. New elevated headworks facility with screening and grit removal equipment and new dedicated biotrickling filter odor control system. New secondary treatment facilities including aeration basins, blower building, secondary clarifiers and secondary sludge pump station. Installation and startup of new screw press in dewatering canopy building, while maintaining the existing belt filter press in service, followed by replacement of belt filter press with second screw press. New biotrickling filter odorcontrol system to serve both the new equipment in the dewatering canopy building and the existing headworks. New tertiary treatment facilities including disc filter structures and addition of UV modules in existing modified channels and new UV outlet box. Yard piping including influent to lift station, force main to headworks, interconnections with existing force main, interconnecting piping between headworks, piping from headworks to secondary treatment, gravity and pumped piping between secondary treatment tanks, dewatering and interconnection with existing secondary treatment system, piping to and between tertiary treatment tanks and channels, new outfall pipe and structure, process drainage, non-potable water and miscellaneous piping. Site civil including grading, drainage, and a combination of reinforced concrete and asphalt paved roads, sidewalks, perimeter fencing and relocation of entrance gate. New electrical building, engine generator with load bank, transformers, and site electrical conduit, manholes, site lighting and electrical associated with process facilities. New SCADA equipment, site I&C conduit, instrumentation and control equipment throughout site to serve process facilities. All questions must be submitted in writing, posted to online, prior to 48 hours before the bid opening. This project is located at Sabine Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant adjacent to 1513 Crenshaw Road, Royse City. Project includes construction of junction box, influent lift station, headworks structure with screening and grit removal equipment, aeration basins, blower building, secondary clarifiers, secondary sludge pump station, tertiary filters, additional UV modules, replacement of sludge dewatering equipment, outfall structure and piping, yard piping, site civil and roads, electrical buildings, all associated electrical, instrumentation and control equipment. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to North Texas Municipal Water District in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance and Payment Bonds are required, each in an amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. The North Texas Municipal Water District reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened. The deadline to ask questions is 7/05/2022 2:00 PM CDT Construct work as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Provide the materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the project completely operable. 2. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a complete project. 3. Provide the civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and all other work required for a complete and operable project. 4. Test and place the completed project in operation. 5. Provide the special tools, spare parts, lubricants, supplies, or other materials as indicated in Contract Documents for the operation and maintenance of the Project. 6. Install Owner provided products and place in operation. 7. Drawings and specifications do not indicate or describe all of the work required to complete the project. Additional details required for the correct installation of selected products are to be provided by the Contractor and coordinated with the Engineer.
