Description

The City of Springfield is seeking to hire a contractor to replace failed drainage infrastructure on South Branch Parkway at the intersection with Briarwood Avenue, and within Gunnery Sargent Thomas J. Sullivan Park. The project includes replacing approximately 120-feet of the drainage trunk line along Briarwood Avenue including the concrete headwall, and deteriorated manhole in the intersection. The project also includes replacing and reconfiguring storm drainage pipes that feed into this manhole. Water main replacement is also included to facilitate installation of the proposed drainage improvements.
