Description

This is a solicitation to replace existing damaged fence located at US Coast Guard Sector Ohio Valley. USCGC Osage This solicitation is set aside for Total Small Business NAICS Code 238990 of with a size standard of 16.5K The Magnitude of Construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Federal Acquisition Regulation Clauses and Department of Labor wage rates for construction are included in this solicitation and are applicable. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. At the US Coast Guard Cutter OSAGE Mooring facility, 300 Mckown Lane, Sewickley PA 15143. The contact person for this contract onsite is MKC Austin West work (412) 741-1180 or cell (206) 730-6511. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. 01 SCOPE OF WORK: The work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Replace existing damaged fence as follows. A. West corner: Replace damaged 50' of chain link fence. B. West corner: Replace 3-3" post set in concrete. C. West corner: Replace 150' of barbwire. D. West corner: Replace 100' of top and mid brace rails. E. West corner: Remove old fallen fence material and dispose of. 02 SPECIAL NOTICES/ PROVISIONS A. Company shall furnish and install all materials, accessories, labor, services, equipment, and incidentals required to perform and complete the work specified herein and as shown on the attached drawings. Unless otherwise specified, all materials and equipment incorporated under this Contract shall be new. Note do not scale from drawings. B. Company is strongly encouraged to visit/inspect the site prior to estimate and submitting a bid. The Company is responsible for ascertaining pertinent existing conditions, verifying existing dimensions(s) or areas, determining all material quantities required and labor requirements. The Company shall become familiar with the site and have any questions answered and issues resolved to their satisfaction prior to submitting a bid; failure to do so, will not relieve the Company from the responsibility for successfully performing and completing the work without additional expense to the State. C. This facility shall remain in operation throughout the duration of the work specified herein. D. Contractor to provide, as necessary, barriers, to close the area and protect employees and the public. E. Contractor is to install new fence and remove the old fence material. 10 RESPONSE TIME The Contractor shall be required to provide 24-hour emergency services 365 days a year throughout the period of the Contract. The Contractor shall take necessary action as directed by the COTR within 24 hours after receiving verbal or written notification of any fence problems. A work order shall be provided that the contractor shall complete and return when the prescribed job is completed. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
