City Wide Street and Utility Reconstruction

The work for which bids are requested includes 2,030 feet of street reconstruction consisting of clearing and grubbing, removal of bituminous pavement, removal of curb and gutter, removal of concrete sidewalk, removal of concrete driveway approaches, sanitary sewer and services, water main and services, storm sewer, unclassified excavation, grading and graveling, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, concrete driveway approaches, retaining walls, asphaltic concrete pavement, and boulevard restoration. Box 5148, Eau Claire, WI 54702-5148, telephone (715) 839-4957.Failure to execute a contract and file the required performance and payment bond (if required) within ten (10) days after receiving the Notice of Award will be just cause for the annulment of the award and forfeiture of the bid security to the City not as a penalty but as liquidated damages.All improvements to be constructed under Contract 2022-05 shall be completed by Friday, September 30, 2022. The Contractor shall maintain a continuous effort to complete the project once construction has commenced. A Bid Bond, bank money order, or bank cashier's check are acceptable forms of bid security. City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities and technical errors as may be deemed in the best interest of the City.
