Replacement of Existing Manhole 208A on Oak Hill Road

The Work to be constructed hereunder is located in the vicinity of the 3rd driveway to the west at Certain Teed and Bergen Industries on Oak Hill Road, Mountaintop, PA 18707, Wright Township, Luzerne County, PA. The work will be in the right-of-way of roads owned by Luzerne County. Luzerne County requires permits for any work within the road Right-of-way. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining and paying for the permit, as described in the Contract Documents. The Work comprises the replacement of Manhole 208A, removal of Manhole 208 and backfill with compacted 2A to surface, the abandonment of the 12" concrete truss pipe between Manhole 208A and Manhole 208 by sealing and grouting both ends of pipe with non-shrink grout, the abandonment of the 12" concrete truss pipe between Manhole 208 and Manhole 207A by sealing and grouting both ends of pipe with non-shrink grout, core hole in existing Manhole 207A for new 12" SDR-35 to new Manhole 208A, connect new 12" SDR-35 with mechanical joint, 5` back from Manhole 208A, to existing 12" concrete truss pipe coming from Manhole 209 and insert into new Manhole 208A with Link Seal, connect new 8" SDR-35 with mechanical joint, 5` back from Manhole 208A to existing 8" concrete truss pipe coming from Manhole 673 and insert into new Manhole 208A with Link Seal, connect new 12" SDR-35 with Link Seal to Manhole 207A and 208A, and all appurtenances for a complete job and in accordance with the Manufacturer`s recommendations and these Contract Documents.
