McArthur Ditch Water Diversion

The McArthur Ditch Water Diversion project includes the demolition of an existing culvert, rehabilitation of the existing ditch segment and stilling basin, construction of a new diversion structure with the means to block the channel and divert water into the structure, and installation of a new flow measuring device with data logging equipment. The purpose of this project is to achieve accurate flow measurements as stipulated in the final decree in Water Court case number 2017CW3205. This was submitted on July 8, 2022. ESTIMATE AND COMPLETION DATES The estimated cost for this project is from $566,270.00 to $622,897.00. The Contract Documents require that all work be Substantially Complete by November 11, 2022 with Final Completion by December 7, 2022. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $300.00 per day and begin to be assessed after failure to complete work by final completion date. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
