Description The City of Ocala is soliciting bids from vendors capable of providing invasive exotic plant control services for the City of Ocala. The vendor will identify and eradicate invasive plants listed on Exhibit A - Florida Exotic Pest Council 2017 Invasive Plant Species List – Categories 1 and 2 at locations 1-3 below. At location 4, vendor will only be responsible for identifying and eradicating Aridisa Crenata (Coral Aridisa) and Polystichum Munitum (Sword Fern). See Exhibit B for boundaries of locations 1, 2 and 4. At Ocala Golf Club, only non-turf/natural areas shall be treated. Bidders are encouraged to visit each site prior to responding to this solicitation. Treatments should consist of chemical and/or mechanical methods as necessary to properly treat and effectively control each type of plant.
