Description | **As of 7/27/2022 project has not yet been awarded. No timeline for award has been extablished. ** The City of Prescott reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any informality deemed in the best interest of the City and to reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent, unfaithful, or unclear to any contract with the City of Prescott. All questions relating to interpretation of the Contract Documents or products must be submitted via email, and responses will be in the form of Addenda to the Documents. All communication relative to this solicitation shall be directed via email to LaTona Jones at latona.jones@prescott-az.gov. All questions received from the start time of bidding up to the Pre-Bid Conference will be answered at that Pre-Bid Conference. Following the Pre-Bid Conference, an Addendum will be prepared to include the meeting minutes and will be issued to all known plan holders and posted on the City's Website. All subsequent questions shall be submitted to LaTona Jones at latona.jones@prescott-az.gov by Friday, May 6, 2022 to allow sufficient time to respond. The intent of the Plans and Specifications is to prescribe a complete work for the described project which the Contractor shall perform in a manner acceptable to the City of Prescott and in full compliance with the terms of the Contract. Unless otherwise specified elsewhere in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, water, light, power, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and incidentals, but not limited to, dust and traffic control measures, and to perform all work involved in executing the Contract in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner within the specified time. All Construction shall conform to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars (AC), Federal Assurances, Federal General Provisions, and Federal Technical Specifications as identified and specified within the plans and contract documents. Where specifically identified some items of construction may also conform to Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) and City of Prescott Construction Standards and Specifications, latest revisions. The Contractor shall fully complete all work under this Contract within the contract time specified in the Federal General Provisions beginning with the calendar day as noted in the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall at all times during the continuance of the Contract prosecute the work with such work force and equipment as is sufficient to complete the project within the time specified. (90 Calendar Days to reach substantial completion). |
