Description | This project is Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged/Veteran-Owned (TG/ED/VO) certified small business preference. A. The work will done under one prime contract that includes: General, Electrical, and Mechanical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1.) The project requires an experienced team of contractors to complete full-scale In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) remediation at the former Crane Lake Resort (LS0018150). 2.) Remediation including light nonaqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) recovery as appropriate and ISCO has been selected by the MPCA to address the residual petroleum impacts at the Site which will in turn reduce potential contamination risk to adjacent Crane Lake and Camp Forty Creek. 3.) The goal of the work is for groundwater throughout the Site to meet MPCA cleanup criteria as described in the specification nine (9) months after the final on-site injection activity. The Section 00 41 73 Prime Contractor Response Form, which includes the attachments listed in the project manual table of contents, is posted within the VirtuBid area of the QuestCDN Plan Room. The Response Form must be downloaded, completed, and uploaded with the bid before it can be posted. Note: Responders to this solicitation must comply with the Responsible Contractor Law. Compliance includes having a valid certificate of authority to transact business in Minnesota with the secretary of state if a foreign corporation or cooperative at the time of submitting a response to this solicitation. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for this solicitation. Note, Prime Contractors that attended the pre-bid meetings held on July 13, 2022 and August 9, 2022 for the initial and rebid solicitations are not required to attend this pre-bid meeting. Pre-registration is required to attend the pre-bid meeting and the date of the pre-bid meeting will be established after the pre-registration deadline. Responses received from contractors that did not attend this pre-bid meeting or the pre-bid meetings on July 13, 2022 or August 9, 2022 will be rejected. |
