The Pearl (Pearl Innovation District) Bid Packages 2-4 (Charlotte Water, Water and Sanitary Sewer; Mass Grading; Local Storm and Roadways)

The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work for a bridge / tunnel. As of June 30, 2022, a construction manager has been selected, but a general contractor has not. A firm construction timeline has also not been released. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and R.J. Leeper have formed a Joint Venture to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk for The Pearl. The Pearl Innovation District will be constructed at the intersection of Baxter and McDowell Streets in Midtown Charlotte.
