Description | Selective demolition of existing West building facade and new construction to attach new 10-story elevator tower and connected exterior corridors from Lower Plaza Level 01A to Level 03. Site work to include new street corner radii with curb and gutter around the existing city block, new paving of Lamar Street with parking, planters, and landscaping. New structure is cased drilled concrete piers with concrete grade beams, structural steel framing, composite metal floor and roof decks Exterior finishes to match existing and include brick masonry veneer, cast stone panels, granite panels, decorative metal, aluminum windows, insulated and spandrel glazing, aluminum storefront entrances and framing, metal canopies, and 2-ply modified bitumen roofing. Interior finishes include hollow metal door frames, hollow metal and solid core wood doors, terrazzo flooring, carpet tile, gypsum board and metal stud wall and ceiling assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient base, large format wall tile, cast stone, paint, and solid surfacing. Facility services to include fire suppression, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical power, exterior and interior lighting, access control and security came. The source of funding for this Project is the Federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) therefore it will utilize prevailing wage rate schedules of the United States Department of Labor adopted in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. Tarrant County reserves the right at its sole discretion to determine if presentations and interviews are in the best interest of the County.
