Janitorial Services for Daytona Beach International Airport

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit competitive sealed proposals for a Contract to furnish janitorial services for the County of Volusia, Florida, at the Daytona Beach International Airport (hereinafter the “County”). It is the intention of the County to provide a clean, sanitary, and odor-free environment for all those who use and/or work at Daytona Beach International Airport. The scope of work for this Request for Proposal shall include complete janitorial services for the Daytona Beach International Airport (DBIA) in accordance with Exhibit I – Scope of Services. The Daytona Beach International Airport area requiring janitorial services is 128,662 square feet. For possibly two (2) to three (3) months in the beginning of this contract, the airport will be completing renovations with intermittent areas not requiring cleaning. A schedule of the renovation will be provided to the awarded Contractor. Once renovations are 100% complete, the entirety of the airport shall be serviced. The County reserves the right to either add or delete square footage and/or frequency of service/s at any time during the course of the resulting contract. If County or Contractor feels there is a discrepancy in square-footage (sq. ft.), the sq. ft., may be recalculated to find a mutually agreeable correct sq. ft. amount.
